Thank you for your candid review. I came with great expectations – and was very disappointed by all aspects of the performance other than, as you mentioned, the music. I wonder what is happening to LA Mama – would Ms. Stewart have tolerated such a poor production? I think not.

I loved this show for its wit, visual effects, and the multiple layers of abstraction. The allegory of the cave was presented with great intensity.
